David C. Phillip
David C. Phillip has dedicated over 25 years to helping clients and companies exceed their goals in the Business, Estate, and Insurance Planning sectors. As the Principal and CEO of Axis-Fidelity Consulting, he is an advocate of insurance solutions as integrated into holistic Financial, Business, and Estate Planning and often collaborates with other Advisors on solutions involving Life Insurance, Long Term Care, and Disability Insurance.
Axis-Fidelity Consulting also provides services in group workplace benefits and the management of 401(k), 403(b), and other institutional retirement plans. David has served as Vice President of Advanced Planning for Comerica Bank, Managing Director for MassMutual Michigan Metro, and as Sr. Advanced Planning Attorney for MassMutual Strategic Distributors.
He obtained his B. A from Marymount Manhattan College, his Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, and was fortunate to attend both institutions on full academic scholarships as a Presidential and Honors Scholar, respectively. David also earned his Chartered Life Underwriter designation from The American College of Financial Services and is a member of the Financial and Estate Planning Council of Metro Detroit and the Michigan Bar Association.
David is committed to helping others and, along with his wife, Eni Phillips, M.D., believes that they are blessed to bless others. He serves on the Charitable Giving Committee for Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. as well as Treasurer for the non-profit Samaritan Way of Michigan. He has also served as President of the Ferndale chapter of the Lions Club--providing service and support to seniors and the visually impaired. In addition to serving clients in the areas of Financial, Estate, and Insurance Planning, David is an avid reader, competitive chess player, and enjoys spending time outdoors with his Giant Schnauzers Titus and Nox.
